We do not sell, rent or otherwise disclose personal information collected by our site to third parties in the ordinary course of business. Visitors and users who wish to purchase items online from our site are asked to provide minimal personal information to permit processing the purchase of the Advanced Privacy Enforcer™ applications. This information includes name, email address and telephone number, billing address and credit card information required for processing. The data you enter on our registration and payment page is only used to create your account and license your additional Advanced Privacy Enforcer™ app features.
What may surprise some people is that it is still difficult for emergency responders to pinpoint the location of someone who calls 911 from a cell phone / mobile device. Cell phone tower and GPS data aren’t that accurate to begin with and everything from physical barriers to weather conditions can throw them off even more.
Android™ device specific - Google has rolled out Emergency Location Service (ELS) for Android phones in the US, so calls to 911 will now automatically share a device's location with emergency services. If Android Emergency Location Service (ELS) works in your country and on your mobile network, and you haven't turned off ELS, your phone will automatically send its location using ELS. If ELS is off, your mobile carrier may still send the device's location during an emergency call or text.
Apple™ device specific - iPhones running iOS 12 or greater share location data automatically and securely with first responders when you dial 911 by ensuring that most of the calls coming from iPhones will deliver timely, accurate location information without sacrificing the users’ privacy. This service can triangulate a mobile 911 caller’s location using cell towers and sensors on the device itself, such as GPS and Wi-Fi access points and this system is limited to 911 calls in the United States. It’s unclear whether a similar system will be implemented for emergency calls in any other country.
Monthly plans appear to work best for short-term users who need to test our service or only intend to use it temporarily, while yearly plans work better for users who are confident they’ll be using our service on an annual 12 month basis. You have the ability to set you account up to auto renew on a monthly or yearly basis thru your account portal from the login of this website or directly from the APE-PC or APE-ST app on your licensed mobile device.
